Knox Heritage opened up the Green House for tours on Saturday. The site was repurposed over 25 years ago as the "Energy House" for the 1982 World's Fair.

Green Building tour to include Doyle center

LEOMINSTER - A Green Building open house and tour will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Doyle Conservation Center, 464 Abbott Ave. The free tour will include the LEED-certified building, with its sustainable features such as composting toilets, geothermal heating and solar panels.
