Protests Still Going Strong

From Mir Hossein Mousavi’s Facebook Page: Today (Oct. 20, 2009) for the fourth consecutive week , more than thousand students of Tehran’s Azad University held a protest despite the very tight security environment and the presence of the Basij and plain cloths militia who were even brought to… the university from outside. Students were chanting “Ya Hossein, Mir Hossein, “Death to dictator” and other Green slogans in support for the Green leaders and in protest to the coup government.

Iranian Opposition Leaders to Attend Memorial for Slain Protesters

Reformist leaders in Iran are planning to attend a memorial ceremony for protesters who died in unrest following the re-election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad . Websites of Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mahdi Karroubi say the two defeated presidential candidates will pay their respects at Tehran's Behesht-e Zahra cemetery on Thursday.
