The Coppell Chamber of Commerce June luncheon was held June 16 at the Hackberry Creek Country Club in Irving. The event was sponsored by the Coppell Green Team, which is a partnership between the chamber and the Keep Coppell Beautiful organization.

Getting a bite to eat to kickstart the day, Anne Hathaway was spotted out at The Griddle Cafe in Hollywood on Friday morning (October 2). Wearing a long green dress, the “Devil Wears Prada” actress looked unhappy to find paparazzi awaiting her exit as she headed to her car toting some boxed food. I have been back from Washington state since Monday night. Unfortunately, farm chores and moving have kept me from sharing pictures of my adventure. I spent Wednesday through Monday visiting with Gracie, "Katmom". Together we attended the Maryjane's Farm Fair 2009. Today in New York Samsung and Lenovo held a luncheon where they presented all of the Green initiatives that they are currently involved in. Both Samsung and Lenovo were touting the green benefits of using SSD drives. SSD Drives are quickly becoming more and more popular because not only are they faster than traditional hard drives, they run cooler, they are more shock proof, and it turns out that they also require less power. Samsung in particular talked about their Enterprise Solid State Drives
