Running back Ahman Green has signed to play for the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League. Green played 12 seasons in the NFL, and is the Green Bay Packers career rushing leader with 8,322 yards in eight years with the club. He also played for Seattle and Houston. Green is returning home to play for the expansion Nighthawks.

East of Boothbay Harbor Part 6 On the day before leaving Ocean Point and sailing out to Monhegan Island, I gathered blueberries in a meadow not far from the cottage. White-throated sparrows serenaded me as I picked handfuls of fresh berries. Since it was late August, the blueberries had grown plump and dark blue–almost black.
