WASHINGTON - Wagyu beef in black mole sauce with grilled beans is on the menu for Wednesday's White House state dinner. The four-course meal will open with a salad of jicama with oranges, grapefruit and pineapple, followed by herb green seviche of Hawaiian opah.

( American Chemical Society ) The American Chemical Society's Green Chemistry Institute will host the 14th Annual Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference from June 21-23 in Washington, D.C. The annual conference, which regularly attracts scientific leaders from around the world, will be held at the Capital Hilton Hotel, just two blocks north of the White House.
